The prevention of student suicides requires continued efforts from the Government

Between 2013 and 2017, 37 students aged from 10 to 19 ended their lives by committing suicide, leading to higher public expectations towards the continued efforts of the Government to prevent student suicides. However, the public finds the “Report of the Task Force on Prevention of Youth Suicides to the Chief Executive” disappointing, as it failed to explain the Government’s follow-up work clearly.
